The Path

Six Levels: Zero Basics → Architect Portfolio

Built like old stone, not cardboard. Each level has its own page with the full syllabus as a progress-saving checklist, hands-on labs mapped to real-world scenarios, and a growth check at the end. No level gets skipped — the foundation carries everything above it.

# Level 0 — Absolute Networking Basics

Before any certification: the raw fundamentals. This is now a dedicated page because “zero to hero” must truly begin at zero.

# Levels 1–5

Why Level 5 is a portfolio, not a cert: Cisco has ended the CCAr path, so chasing it would be chasing a closed door. Architect-level thinking is still the goal — proven through design documents and decision records instead of an inactive certification path.

# The Missing-Piece Map

The Cisco path alone is not enough. This companion map adds the field skills recruiters and support teams actually expect.

Complete Syllabus Map

  • Subnetting, OSI troubleshooting, real hardware, data center, cloud, firewall, wireless and proof standards.

Ticket Simulations

  • APIPA, DNS failure, wrong gateway, VLAN/trunk faults, VPN issue, Wi-Fi connected but no internet.

Interview Answer Bank

  • Each answer connects concept, lab proof, commands, mistake learned and professional explanation.

# The Toolbox

The simulators and tools this whole journey runs on. Details per level on each level's page.
